Evolution



Artyom Dervoed was born in Rostov-on-Don (Russia) on 25th of October 1981. He started playing a seven-string guitar when he was 6 years old under direction of S. Annikov. Few years later he was retrained on a six-string guitar, being engaged with teacher E. Svyatozarova in Moscow suburbs. In the beginning of 90s Artyom has continued education at the music school ¹ 84 named by Shalyapin (Moscow) in a class of teacher L. Reznik. Artyom graduated from a private music school "Young Talents", Music College named by Alfred Shnitke and Russian Gnesin’s Academy of Music in Professor Nickolay Komolyatov’s class. In 2005 he finished the 4th year of master-classes with Oscar Ghiglia in Academia Chigiana (Siena, Italy). Now, Artyom is getting post-graduate education in Russian Gnesin’s Academy of Music with Nickolay Komolyatov and with Aniello Desiderio in Koblenz Guitar Academy (Germany). Also, Artyom has taken master-classes from Remi Boucher, Roland Dyens, Fabio Zanon, Alexei Zimakov etc. Artyom’s granted by Moscow authority, International Charity Foundation of Vladimir Spivakov and "Russian Performing Art" foundation.


Artyom Dervoed got prizes at the following international and all-Russian competitions:
1995, Moscow (Russia), International competition "Young Musicians" — 1st prize;
1996, Belgorod (Russia), All-Russian competition — 1st prize;
1999, Carpentras (France), International competition dedicated to Leo Brouwer — 1st prize;
2004, Cherepovets (Russia), International competition "Cup of the North" — 1st prize;
2004, Ile de Re (France), International competition — 1st prize;
2006, Alessandria (Italy), the 39 international competition "Michele Pittaluga" — 1st prize;
2006, the Singapore international guitar competition — 1st prize.


Nowadays, Artyom Dervoed had performed in all famous Moscow concert-halls, such as Big Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, Rachmaninoff’s hall etc. His performances were aired by TV and radio stations in different countries. He was on tour in USA, France, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Lebanon, Ukraine and many cities in Russia. He plays solo and with several famous Russian orchestras. In March 2006 Artyom performed with Yuri Bashmet’s orchestra “New Russia” at the 1st international festival "Guitar virtuosos" in Tchaikovsky hall in Moscow.
